The Sofitel Philadelphia is one of my favorite locations to entertain wedding receptions. Everywhere you look, the slogan “Life is magnifique” is prominently displayed, encouraging their very friendly and helpful staff to deliver the joie de vivre that makes them stand above the rest. The modern, yet elegant décor serves as the perfect backdrop to some of the coolest weddings I have ever been a part of.


Kathryn and Eric’s wedding reception was marked with numerous intimate moments, including a welcoming speech from Kathryn’s father, that lead into the father and daughter dance, all while surrounded by the 180+ friends and family members encircling them on the dance floor. It was a moving to look around and see so many emotionally engaged guests and not disinterested people sitting at their tables.


Despite the few (graciously denied) requests for the Electric Slide and the Chicken Dance, the dance floor was moving all night long! Thank you for having me as your entertainment, Kathryn and Eric!
