A Beautiful Day In Blue Bell

The Silos Ballroom at Normandy Farm is one of the more unique settings for a special occasion. The room’s most distinctive feature is the three impressive silos, from which the room derived its name. Originally used to stored grain for the barn’s prize-winning cattle, these silos have been “carved” open, fully renovated and incorporated into the entire room. As three separate alcoves, directly accessible off of the room’s west wall, they offer a wonderfully unique ambience to an event. Normandy Farm wedding

The Silos Ballroom also offers direct access to an outside terrace, where guests can step outside and relax in the evening breeze.

Becky and Joshua's ceremony was hosted outside the Normandy Ballroom in the garden piazza. Under a warm September sun and a birch chuppah, they shared their vows in a relaxed and natural setting.

When Becky and Joshua entered the room, they were greeted with a room full of guests swinging Terrible Towels over their heads. Becky's father referred to them as "Terrific Towels", since they weren't yellow and had the bride and groom's names on them.

Their first dance was followed by a rousing Hora. Mostly because Joshua is such a giant, the bride and groom ended up getting sent up in the chairs twice! Normandy Farm wedding

It was very obvious how much Becky and Joshua's parents loved them. Both of their fathers addressed the crowd with moving speeches, telling stories about their love of sports, school, and the fact that Joshua was born weighing in at 12 pounds and 6 ounces!

All of Becky and Joshua's friends and family had a great time taking pictures, sharing some dance floor space, and smothering the newlyweds with high-fives, hugs, and kisses.

Right around this time next week, Becky and Joshua will be floating on a cruise ship outside of Rome! Wow!

Congratulations, Rebecca and Joshua!
