This past Sunday, I had the distinct pleasure of provide the wedding entertainment direction for two extraordinary people. Jamie and Chad were well beyond "nice"; they were two of the best clients I've ever worked with.
Maybe I was just tired from a long weekend, but there were several moments during the evening where I was choked up by what was happening.
During the ceremony, the rabbi explained to everyone about the origin and significance of the wedding ring being given to Jamie. Sadly, Jamie's mother had recently passed away. The ring had belonged to her mother and Chad had purchased it, according to Jewish law, from her father to be given to Jamie.
I don't think anyone noticed, but I had to turn away for a second. It was one of the most thoughtful, romantic, and respectful gestures I had ever seen coming from a groom to his wife. Just awesome...
Because of the size and dimensions of the Springfield Country Club's Golf View Ballroom, wireless sound in the far end of the room was definitely a requirement. It definitely helped cover the room in a comfortable level of sound without overwealming the room.
Lead by Springfield's Andrea and Mario, dinner was delivered quickly, allowing for plenty of dance floor time.
After the Hora and a nice mix of old and new music, the dance floor bounced all night long!
Congratulations, Jamie and Chad!
