It's not often that I have the chance to provide entertainment for a wedding reception in such a naturally elegant and relaxed setting like the Brandywine Manor House Inn.
Located down a quiet, winding country road, nestled on eighty-five acres of mixed farmland and mature deciduous woodlands in the heart of beautiful Chester County, the Brandywine Manor House is the epitome of an elegant bed and breakfast country inn. Dissected by several tributaries of the Indian Creek, the charm of babbling brooks and picturesque meadows provides a wonderful backdrop for a wedding ceremony and reception.
Kelly and John's day began with their ceremony taking place out at the gazebo. Their non-traditional song selections for their ceremony music seemed to fit their surroundings perfectly. Instead some overly polished Mozart piece, they opted for the like of Van Morrison and The Beatles. Very cool.
The event segued from ceremony to reception very nicely, carrying into cocktail hour and eventually dinner and dancing.
Kelly and John's guests had numerous song requests, as they were excitedly there to dance and have a great time. One of the more notable requests came from the father of the bride, who danced wildly to Fergie's "Glamorous" (with every lady in the room, I might add).
Because the event was held outdoors, special care was needed when it came to volume levels. Despite the necessity of keeping the speakers turned down, it was a rockin' night! The crowd went wild until the final song was played!
Congratulations, Kelly and John!
