Communication Is Key

How do you ensure that your wedding day is going to be successful? How can you identify "potentials" before they become problems? How can you improve your ability to relax and enjoy your wedding day?

Communication is key.

It's no big secret. Good communication is the foundation for a great marriage. By telling each other what you are feeling and what you need from him or her, you can fully appreciate each other and solve any problems you might face. Why not apply that same line of thinking when it comes to planning the wedding?

By keeping the lines of communication open with your selected wedding professionals (via telephone, email, or face-to-face consultations), you can share your vision of your day, consider your professionals' ideas and experience, and work in a concerted effort to deliver the kind of event your friends and family will appreciate and completely enjoy!

The best wedding receptions I encounter are the ones that have good communication between the "soon-to-be-weds" and me. After having several conversations with a bride and groom, I get a very good sense of what their dream of a great wedding day entails. By having this open (and often continuous) communication, the bride and groom are able to walk into their ballroom worry-free and ready to have a great time.

So, light up the phone and fire out those emails! Make sure everyone is on the same page and your reception will be a blast!

Steve, I have to agree 100% with this.
Communication with all of your vendors is the key cornerstone to make your reception exactly what you envisioned.
